Wish Experience Presents A Brief History of Beer: The New Brew

​​The pint machine returns to Orlando with an all new adventure through the beer timelines for the Orlando Fringe 2016!


A mix of sketch comedy, parody songs, and galactic melodrama, this year’s season will be packed with all-new material, including a Mickey Mouse #2 beer tasting, games like The Wall of Beers, and all kinds of refreshing new trivia about the golden brew. Audiences are invited to join Will and Trish in their Quantum Pint Machine, where they travel through 10,000 year of beer, learning about the world's favorite drink, at one of the Fringe’s newest venues, St. Matthew’s Tavern, that has more than doubled the number of acts from last year.

​A Brief History of Beer is a drink-a-long comedy that has been touring since 2013. Since it played Orlando in 2014, the time-travelling duo Will Glenn and Trish Parry have been playing to sell-out audiences in Australia, and have been performing a monthly series of the show in NYC at UNDER St Marks in the heart of the East Village. Wish has been inducted into The British Guild of Beer Writers, and received praise in Edinburgh from many reviewers. A Brief History of Beer is “the ultimate tribute to Homer Simpson’s favourite drink” (Tami Shaloum, Stagebuddy NYC), and “definitely not one to miss” (Samantha Rosenthal, Watermark). Directed by the acclaimed British Jeffrey Mayhew, the show has received nothing but praise all over the globe, receiving 4.5/5 from Rip It Up magazine, with InDaily saying “A Brief History of Beer is an opportunity to learn, to be amazed and to imbibe with them. Be warned, one drink may not be enough!”
