Orlando Beer Guide is Orlando's guide to local breweries and brewpubs, bars with great beer, beer bar and grills, bottle shops, and craft beer related events in and around Orlando. Most people are totally unaware that Central Florida is quickly developing a respectable craft beer scene.
There have recently been a number of local bars that have began putting an emphasis on their selection of craft beer. Several serve craft beer only. Redlight Red Light is probably at the top of this list. They were recently named the #3 Beer Bar in the world by ratebeer.com. They were #4 the previous year! Redlight probably has the most thoughtful selection of beer we have ever seen... Anywhere! World of Beer is another great (relatively new) beer bar that only serves craft beer. They currently have 3 area locations.
Orlando even has its own brewery and hopefully a couple more on the way! Orlando Brewing prides itself in being Florida's oldest organic brewery. They have a nice year round selection and a rotating list of seasonals as well. Cigar City Brewing is about an hour's drive from Disney property but is well worth the trip! C.C.B is has only been around a few years but has gained a tremendous amount of respect nationally for the quality of their beers. Definitely ask to try one of their "Pilot Beers" that are only available in their tasting room.
