It's going to be a big day for both beer lovers AND zombies in Orlando! Undead local beer enthusiasts will certainly delight at today's schedule of events.... Taps from Scratch will be having its Grand Opening tonight in the Audubon Park District which just also happens to be Zombietoberfest! I stopped by a couple weeks ago to talk with our good friend David about the new place. He said it's part mancave, part beer museum, and part homebrewer's club. It's a very unique concept in a great location! You can become a member of the club for $10 a month and brew on their equipment. Anyone who has been yelled at for destroying the family kitchen while homebrewing can understand why this is a great idea. Taps also does "bottomless" tap tours where you can buy a glass and enjoy unlimited samples of their unfiltered homebrew for $15. Today also marks the 1 year Anniversary of Oblivion Taproom!. We can't think of a better way to celebrate than having drunken pirate party! The festivities start tonight at 7:00pm and will feature Happy Hour prices all night, $1 off all 40 ciders, and Chef Goody's sure to be crazy food specials. Dress like a pirate or a wench and get a booty bag! In other Audubon Park District news, we just caught wind that the new Redlight Red Light will be opening its doors tonight in its new home. They made a silly Zombie reference on their Facebook page late last night..."We won't be serving brains, but if you bring your own, you're welcome to enjoy them at the bar. If you share". So I guess its BYOB. We would love it if you send us some pictures if you go to any of these events. We will use them on our website so others can see all the fun they missed. Email any photos to [email protected]!
