The local space that was made famous by Redlight Redlight on Bennett Road is now home to the Smiling Bison. Orlando's newest craft beer bar and grill will feature hand crafted sausages made famous by the Smiling Bison food cart as well as an admirable selection of craft beer and wine. There is also a small stage that will feature a nice variety of local music acts. Rumor has it that Green Day actually played here in 1993 before Dookie made them big! The Smiling Bison makes all of their own sausage and prides itself on using nothing but fresh and local ingredients. Local Brewmaster Ron Raike helped to rebuild their draft system to currently accommodate 10 draft lines. All 10 of those will be craft brews which will likely include some of Raike's brews from nearby Cask & Larder Brewing. The Smiling Bison will host a sneak preview party this evening (Saturday) from 8-12 am and will officially be open for business this Tuesday at 5:00pm.
