It's very exciting to see the growing emphasis that's being placed on craft beer in downtown Orlando. We received word this week that Wall Street Plaza's two newest venues are making a solid effort to provide a quality selection of craft beers to Orlando beer drinkers. Both The Hen House and Hooch showcase a wide array of craft brews as well as one of a kind cocktails and house batched moonshine. Hooch, formerly The Globe has only been open for about two weeks now. With TVs inside and out it's a great place to grab a beer, some small bites and catch whatever game may be on that season. There is some cool history here too... The space was Downtown Orlando's original bus station where rucksack wanderer Jack Kerouac once stopped to write while "On the Road". Hooch serves its 14 draught beers from a signature beer tower that was hand crafted from brass and copper by old world artisans in Solvenia. Hooch currently has about 30 craft beers available on draft and in a bottle. The Hen House, which was formerly Sauced is being billed as Wall Street Plaza's smallest bardello. They boast an entire menu's worth of craft beers, cocktails and the most intriguing shots you've ever seen! Its a cozy little bar perfect for a few friends to sit down with a beer, throw
some tunes on the juke box and chat with your bartender. Check these guys out and let us know what you think!
