Central Florida Home Brewer's Club Attempts to Make the Hoppiest Beer in the World on June 23!

The Central Florida Home Brewer's Club is attempting to enter the Guiness Book of World's Records for brewing the hoppiest beer in the world!  The club's efforts will take place during  World of Beer Altamonte Springs Hopfest on June 23rd...

The current record was set by a British lad back in 2010.  Peter Fowler's "The Hop" weighed in at 323 IBU's (International Bittering Units).  So just how bitter is 323 IBU's?  To give an idea, Cigar City's Jai Alai is listed at 70 IBU's.  Breaking 323 IBU's is a crazy thought!
So if you're interested in seeing how the World's hoppiest beer is made you can witness it firsthand at Hop Fest at World of Beer Altamonte Springs on June 23rd.   Brewing will take place around noon.
